New look 2009 - Problems

Postby AlunUlsterbus » Mon Jun 08, 2009 10:44 am

Please report here any strange layout problems you are having with the new site/forum.

Please try to describe the problem exactly and give me the internet browser version you are using (usually found by going to help > about). There are so many browsers and versions now its impossible for me to check them all. Everything looks fine from my PC, but everyone will be slightly different - please help!

e.g.

"On the front page of s44gan.com the new reports are appearing way down the screen not at the top where they should be - internet explorer 7.0"
Thanks,

to be honest it looks well n all, but theres too much goin on in the screen, old one was far less cluttered ohh and has anyone experienced big sections of blank screen that u have to scroll down through to read the next post?

Speedwise the site is just the same, the hosting server is sometimes slow but its always been like that and unless we get a large injection of cash were stuck.
Thanks,

dave.. ive had a look at the old forums posts side by side with the new ones...the only additional thing that appears to be cluttering it up is the name of the topic title appearing in each persons reply. I can remove that pretty easliy. otherwise the layout is very similar.

as for the huge sections of blank screen, ive not experience this in any browsers ive test it in, so if u could give me a screen shot and your OS/browser version would help thanks,
Thanks,

ok the save button has gone..it annoyed me too, but i never bothered investigating how to turn it off until now :)

as for the usernames on the right instead of the left, I think it just needs some time to get used to it. the last time I attempted to move it over I mucked up the entire layout of the site.
Thanks,
